Do you ever feel like you want to do absolutely nothing? Because I feel like that today.
Having taken two days off from work (thanks to being hit in the face with a football), I’ve got so much work piled up that it’s not even funny.
In addition to work work, I’ve also got a couple of personal projects that I need to finish ASAP.
But do I want to do any of the work? Nope.
Do I feel any motivation to put in any sort of effort toward the completion of even one of my projects? Nope.
Do I want to sit and read all day? Yes. That’s about the only thing I want to do right now.
Maybe – despite saying I wouldn’t take on anything more – I’ve managed to once more overload my plate and now my systems are struggling to cope? That’s a thought.

How did you make this beautiful purple header?? I love it. It made me laugh, and then I felt guilty when I read that you got hit in the face with a football! Painful. So sorry! No WONDER you don’t have motivation. I wonder if writing about no motivation motivated you?

I made the header using Canva, and some hex code research for the perfect purple shade. 😁
I’m still lacking motivation to do anything though.

Some days it is just hard to find that motivation. I can see where being hit in the face with a football might just knock the motivation out of you. But you were motivated to write and post.

I am lacking motivation too and just needed a break, so here I lay on the couch. I am totally content right now. I hope you find some motivation.

Some days it’s okay to just give in to it. I have found that when I do, my rejuvenated energy more than makes up for the lost time. Tomorrow is, indeed, another day.

The title of your piece pulled me right in, to read in fellowship. I hope you are feeling better. Football to the head sounds painful. I hope you enjoy your reading.

YES! The lack of motivation hits me too! I relate so much to this.

You wrote a descriptive post and I can certainly relate. Some days, you’re just out of gas and you need to give into it. A good sleep is usually the best cure for me. Feel better.
